Planet X Exploration Services Ltd. was started by a group of prospecting entrepreneurs with a passion for the adventure of exploration and discovery on the island of Newfoundland. As independent early stage gold and base metal prospectors and prospect generators it came to our attention that reliable, affordable, high quality exploration field services were often a challenge to find. Planet X was born to service this need.

With deep roots in the local area and exploration community, Planet X Exploration Services Ltd. prides itself on seamless service delivery with responsible social and environmental sustainability at the forefront. We work with local communities and land users throughout the exploration process to encourage a positive understanding and experience for all land users and stakeholders.

Each exploration project is unique and comes with its own specialized challenges. Throughout the years and over the course of many projects we have developed a broad network of specialized exploration service professionals and geological consultants. We partner with the experts to build the best possible exploration team to make your project a success.

As partners, we operate with collaboration and clarity. Our first job is to understand the client’s vision and needs, and through consultation with a broad network of mineral industry professionals, we’re able to bring the right resources to the table to get the job done. We value timeliness, direct communication as well as the occasional face-to-face meeting over lunch.

We believe in using efficient sustainable practices in our delivery of service both in how we manage projects and how we conduct our field work. As project managers we use the most efficient tools and latest technology to get the job done. We continually focus on cutting down wastage throughout the process to add value for our clients. In the field we strive to be excellent environmental stewards by returning worked land to pre-exploration conditions and far exceeding the requirements outlined in environmental permits. We feel it’s much more efficient and cost-effective to start from the very beginning with sustainability in mind.
